easyBus welcomes children. See our policy on special assistance.
As a guidance please note that
- You will be required to buy a ticket for a child aged 3 and over. A child under that age will not be entitled to a seat and will travel on the lap of the accompanying adult,
- One Child under 3 years of age ( called an Infant) may travel free of charge per accompanying passenger over the age of 16.
- Students and senior citizens all pay the same fare as adults.
- If your child under 3 years of age is not travelling on your lap you must make a paid for booking to travel on easyBus services as they will be occupying a seat. (An accompanying adult may only have one infant travelling on their lap).
- easyBus does not provide child restraints, infant / child seats or booster seats. easyBus recommends that passengers travelling with children should ensure they bring an appropriate child restraint with them.
- If an infant seat is carried (for the infant to be placed in, instead of being sat on the lap of the accompanying adult) then a seat MUST be booked and paid for the infant.
- Single Pushchairs (buggys and strollers) can be carried providing that they are collapsible.
- Double Pushchairs (buggys and strollers) will not be carried.
- Children under 14 years of age will not be carried unless accompanied by a responsible person aged 16 or over. easyBus reserves the right to refuse carriage to persons who are unable to prove their age. easyBus recommends that persons aged 14 - 18 carry proof of age.
- Due to the competitive fares easyBus is not able to offer child discount or old age pensioner discounts.
