The following is a guide on how to travel from Luton Airport to Heathrow, please note Tube operating times run from around 6am to 11.30pm daily.
- From Heathrow Terminals 1-2-3 Underground Station simply take the tube (Piccadilly Line/Blue) towards central London - eastbound towards Arnos Grove or the Piccadilly Line to Cockfosters.
- Alight at South Kensington Underground Station.
Average journey time: 40 minutes.
- Take the Circle Line towards Victoria or District Line towards Upminster/Dagenham East/Tower Hill
- Alight at Victoria Underground and Coach Station, only 2 stops.
Average journey time: 4 minutes.
Total Tube Journey Time: 44 minutes, please allow 5 minutes between trains.
- Catch the easyBus to/from London Luton and Victoria Coach and Bus Station.
Paying by cash a single Adult tube fare will cost £4.00, or with Oyster card £3.80 during Peak times, or £2.20 during off-Peak. (Peak Times are Monday to Friday, 6.30am-9.30am & 16:00 - 19:00).
Heathrow and Luton Airport Check In
Please aim to check in as early as possible. As a general guide, you should allow three hours before scheduled departure time for long haul, two hours before scheduled departure for European flights and ninety minutes before scheduled departure for flights within the UK and Ireland. Please check the instructions on your ticket and if you are still unsure please check with your airline directly.
